I am writing this open letter to express my thanks and appreciation to both Garry and Angie Tomashowski for all the work they have done and the help they provided resulting in the successful sale of both of my properties on Mt. Charleston.  What I found as the distinguishing factor, when working with these two highly qualified professionals, is one simple fact that they listened.  They listened to my unique circumstance, what my intentions and needs were, and they handled my business in a professional manner, as well as in a king, understanding,a nd cooperative spirit.  I recognize that at times it took considerable patience on their part to work with me.  Because of my attachment to that fine home I owned for 20 years on the mountain, I had considerable difficulty letting it go, even when it was the most fiscally responsible thing to do. I can honestly say that they always made me feel that my own interests were all that mattered to them, even when I kept changing my mind on what I wanted.  I also felt lucky to have such a team, as Garry and Angie working for me, because of their individually unique and complimentary expertise.  I consider Garry a formidable builder and craftsman, with exceptional ability to visualize and express ideas that are in concert with the dreams of potential home buyers. or ones who may want to build.  This is an invaluable trait, and often not well understood, even when it is the emotional component that is the key factor in the buy/build/sell decision.  Angie is a businesswoman with outstanding understanding of the market and house values, very good at taking care of all business details, and always follows through on her commitments.  She also has superior communications and interpersonal skills that help tremendously during times of sensitive and delicate negotiations, and when practical realities need to be communicated.  I found her always calm, level headed and well informed.  Last, but in a way most importantly, I want to comment on the honesty and integrity of both Garry and Angie.  The highly competitive nature of real estate business is well understood by us buyers and sellers.  All of us had experiences,at one time or another, of being influenced by real estate agents in ways that may not have best served our interests.  Garry and Angie both worked with me in a most professional manner, being very clear about their positions in our business relationship. I marveled how well they were able to present me with the facts, always looking to me for decisions, and being most reluctant to offer opinions.  This was especially important - when selling both of my properties, because Garry and Angie represented both sides, the buyer and the seller.  I am convinced that it was this integrity and honesty that resulted in my win-win transactions - that we all look to achieve, that we all find most satisfying.  Once again I want to take this opportunity to thank Garry and Angie, wish them much success, and may they continue to live on and enjoy that magical place, Mt. "I am writing this letter of thanks to Angie and Garry Tomashowski. My husband and I were really feeling lost while house hunting. It seemed like no one cared about what we were looking for, only how much money they could get from us.
